Recognition of qualifications for refugees on the agenda of a new working meeting of the European EQUAL project

On 22 September this year, the first working meeting was held in Oslo to review the progress of the European Qualifications – Refugees and Recognition 4 (EQUAL) project, no. 101101707, funded by the European Commission, for members of the ENIC/NARIC National Recognition Centres network, in which Romania is a partner together with Lithuania, Poland, Italy, Greece and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

CNRED participated in the First Session of the Intergovernmental Conference of States Parties to the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education

The First Session of the Intergovernmental Conference of States Parties to the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, organised by UNESCO, was held in Paris on 4-5 July 2023. On behalf of Romania, Ms Gianina Chirazi, Director of the National Centre for the Recognition and Equivalence of Qualifications (CNRED) - ENIC/NARIC National Centre and representatives of the Permanent Delegation of Romania to UNESCO participated.

The international recognition of CNRED is strengthened by its new role as member of NARIC Advisory Board

On the occasion of the 30th Annual Joint Meeting of the Member Centres of the ENIC-NARIC (National Academic Recognition and Information Centres) Networks, which took place on 11 – 13 June 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden, the CNRED representative was appointed member of the NARIC Network Advisory Board.

CNRED participated in the launch meeting of the OCTRA 2 project

On March 10, 2023, in Riga, was held the launch meeting of the OCTRA 2 project – Online course catalogs and databases for transparency and recognition 2, no. 101101695, financed by the Erasmus+ program, action 3, project intended for members of the ENIC/NARIC National Recognition Centers network, in which Romania is a partner alongside Latvia, Poland, Ireland, Bulgaria, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

CNRED opens the series of activities for the implementation of projects financed by the Erasmus+ Program

On February 17, the launch meeting of the ARAQUA project was held in Riga – Road to Automatic Recognition of Higher Education Access Qualifications, no. 101101645, financed by the Erasmus+ program, action 3, project intended for members of the ENIC/NARIC National Recognition Centers network, in which Romania is a partner alongside Latvia, the Kingdom of Denmark, Italy, Malta, Estonia, Slovakia, Armenia and Ireland.

Results of Romania in the Single Market Scoreboard 2023 for all IMI indicators are above the European average

The European Commission published, on February 6, the Single Market Scoreboard - 2023 edition, which highlights all Romania's indicators for the Internal Market Information System (IMI) and Professional Qualifications, coordinated by the National Recognition Center and Diploma Equivalence (CNRED), maintaining the very good results obtained in previous years.
