Academic and professional recognition in the context of Brexit

On 30 March 2019, the United Kingdom will leave the European Union and become a third country; the withdrawal will take place either on the basis of a withdrawal agreement or automatic without the conclusion of such an international legal instrument, depending on the outcome of the negotiations between the European Commission and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

CNRED participated at the actions to promote Romanian higher education in the Republic of Tunisia

Between 18 and 19 October, in Tunis, several actions to promote Romanian higher education were organized by the National Council of Rectors (CNR), the Ministry of National Education in Romania, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Tunisia and the Embassy of Romania in the Tunisian Republic.

From 19th to 21st September, CNRED organized in Bucharest new training sessions for IMI and RegProf users

CNRED hosted the study visit of representatives from the profile institutions in Egypt

On September 7, CNRED hosted the study visit of a delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt headed by Prof. Youhansen Eid, President of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NAQAAE) and composed of representatives of the Ministry of Education, National Agency Quality Assurance in Education, the Ministry of Immigration and the structure specific to the TVET Program.

Results of Romania in Single Market Scoreboard 2018 for IMI are above the European average

The European Commission published, on 11th of July 2018, the Single Market scoreboard for the year 2017, which highlights that the results of RO for IMI and Professional Qualifications, module coordinated by CNRED, are above the European average, maintaining the results obtained in the previous year.

CNRED updated the methodology for recognition and equivalence of baccalaureate, vocational and post-secondary school diplomas obtained abroad

Starting May 22, 2018, CNRED implements the new provisions on procedures for the recognition and equivalence of pre-university study documents obtained abroad for applicants seeking to continue their studies or to work in Romania.
