CNRED made available, from 2020, to all those interested, through the Electronic Single Contact Point, the online recognition of diplomas obtained abroad and the online authentication of higher education diplomas for those who go abroad.

Today, on October 5th, 2021, it took place virtually, in Romania, the Your Europe digital Roadshow, where was invited to participate the National Coordinator of the Single Digital Gateway - Mr. Octavian Oprea, President of the Authority for the Digitization of Romania and Ms. Gianina Chirazi, Director of the National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED), who joined the "influencere" elected to report "personal stories" lived in the European space.

The National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas within the Ministry of Education organized, between September 7 and 8, a new working meeting within the QUATREC 2 project ("Comparing qualifications for a fair recognition 2").

By the Law no. 164/2021, Romania has accepted the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, a normative tool developed by UNESCO to facilitate the recognition of studies and academic mobility, in line with other legal instruments and international practices in the field.

The National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas participated today, June 11, together with representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers in Latvia, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Armenia and Bulgaria, in the second online working meeting of the QUATREC 2 project ("Comparing qualifications for a fair recognition 2”).

As a member of the ENIC-NARIC, CNRED attended today, June 9, at the 28th annual meeting of the ENIC-NARIC (National Centers for Academic Recognition and Information), organized online by the European Commission, with the support of the European Council, UNESCO and the ENIC-NARIC Center in Portugal.

At the invitation of the American Councils for International Education, Romania Branch, CNRED representatives participated, on May 22, 2021, in an online meeting with the new generation of FLEX Romania scholarship holders 2021-2022.

Under the auspices of UNESCO, the representatives of the signatory countries of the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, including Romania, through the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas, met on Friday, May 7, 2021, in an international webinar dedicated to implementing the Convention.

Together with the representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers from Italy, the Netherlands and France, the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas participated, on April 6, 2021, in the fourth online working meeting of the DEQAR CONNECT project.
