On November 5, CNRED representatives participated, as every year, at the "Liberal Professions Day in Romania", the 11th edition organized by the Union of Liberal Professions in Romania on "The Role and Future of the Liberal Professions from Romania" - https://www.uplr.ro/
Speeches and interventions of the participants highlighted the importance of certain liberal professions such as lawyer, tax consultant, notary public, financial auditor, insolvency practitioner, authorized assessor and journalist.
CNRED's intervention as National Coordinator for Recognition of Professional Qualifications highlighted the challenges and obligations that the Romanian competent authorities for regulated professions, most of them liberal, have to meet in the short and medium term, such as the transposition and implementation of Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications, European Commission Recommendations formulated for certain professions following the evaluation of Romanian regulations and the transposition of Directive (EU) 2018/958.
