Today, on November 4th, the CNRED representatives have traditionally been together with the Union of Liberal Professions in Romania at the "Liberal Professions Day in Romania", which took place online with the theme "Exercise of Liberal Professions in Pandemic" - https://www.uplr.ro/.
CNRED, as the National Coordinator for the recognition of professional qualifications, stressed the role of the provision of professional services in the liberal professions during the pandemic so that beneficiaries have quality services, whether they are clients or even patients.
In this respect, the National Coordinator has highlighted the fact that online service provision and/or digitization, i.e. automation of professional services, is a viable alternative underlined by the European Commission in the study, during this year, on the professions of Architect, Lawyer, Accountant and Engineer. Also, the electronic instruments created by the European Commission in the field of recognition of professional qualifications and the pursuit of the regulated professions were also passed, respectively, the Single electronic contact point and the Single Digital Gateway implemented by the Authority for Digitalization of Romania, as well as the European Commission's database - RegProf and the IMI Internal Market Information System, for which CNRED is a National Coordinator, permanently collaborating with the competent authorities for regulated professions.
The need to adapt the exercise of liberal professions to the conditions imposed by the pandemic was also highlighted by the representatives of the other public authorities and the professional organizations, respectively, imposing both changes in the legislative framework, but also new practical approaches in the actual provision of professional services.
