Romania present at the second DEQAR CONNECT meeting

The National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas participated today, December 18, 2020, together with representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers in Italy, the Netherlands and France, in the second online working meeting of the DEQAR CONNECT project (available here).

During the videoconference, EQAR representatives presented to the project partners the progress of the DEQAR CONNECT project, respectively the current stages of collaboration with other national agencies for quality assurance in higher education, with EQAR-Europass and other initiatives for the interoperability of databases in higher education.

The representatives of the ENIC-NARIC centers, including ENIC-NARIC Romania, presented the technical actions on how to use the data from the DEQAR database and the actions planned for the future for implementation within their own electronic platforms and in the recognition workflow and digital accreditation. The meeting ended with the presentation of the scheduled activities until the next meeting between the EQAR representatives and the experts of the ENIC-NARIC centers.

The Ministry of Education and Research, through the National Center for Diploma Recognition and Equivalence, is a partner in the European project Enhancing the Coverage and Connectivity of QA in the EHEA through DEQAR (DEQAR CONNECT), funded by the Erasmus+ program and coordinated by the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
