On November 5, CNRED representatives joined, as every year, the Union of Liberal Professions in Romania, at the "Day of Liberal Professions in Romania", which, this time, took place online under the theme "Exercising the liberal professions in the conditions of digitization” - https://www.uplr.ro/ .

CNRED's intervention as National Coordinator for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications inventoried the electronic tools created by the European Commission in the field of recognition of professional qualifications and the exercise of regulated professions, including liberal ones, emphasizing that they must be implemented both from the perspective of Romania's obligations as a Member State, but also of utility for citizens and professionals, especially in this time of global health crisis. Thus, were mentioned the electronic single point of contact and the single digital portal, implemented by the Romanian Digitization Authority, as well as the database of the European Commission - RegProf and the Internal Market Information System - IMI, for which CNRED is National Coordinator and, in this capacity, work closely with the competent authorities for the regulated professions.

Also, representatives of other public authorities and concerned professional organizations present at the event highlighted the need to adjust public administration and professions at the national and European digitization, noting the measures taken so far have initiatives underway and the opportunity to access European funds in this regard.
