During the two days dedicated to European and international recognition policies, the workshops inventoried topics of current interest for the academic community and employers, such as: digital transformation and automatic recognition, recognition and labour market integration, the role of recognition infrastructure in developing institutional capacity, the implementation of the main international legal instruments in the field (the Lisbon Recognition Convention and the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education), as well as regional conventions such as Tokyo for the Asia-Pacific region, the Arab and Latin American Conventions, Addis Ababa for Africa, etc.
The Council of Europe, for its part, presented the Recommendation of the Committee of Ministers on combating fraud in education and promoting ethics, transparency and integrity in education and moderated a workshop on this subject „For quality education free from fraud and corruption: the role of ENIC-NARIC”, highlighting the importance and role of National Recognition Centres in regional and interregional cooperation.
